Our client is a manufacturing/ warehouse services company which supports the airline industry

The job: We are looking for an exceptionally organised and communicative HR Officer to support the business in their recruitment, HR and payroll activities. This is could be considered as a full or part-time role (both roles to be carried out over 5 days /between Monday to Friday). This role is an autonomous role that provides first class HR support to the Gatwick and Heathrow sites (Based in Gatwick) 

  • HR Administration – producing starter packs/ offer letters, assisting in airport referencing processes, providing info to employees on company polices via phone and email, creating / updating staff records
  • Recruitment – liaising with internal stakeholders, agencies and direct candidates to organise/ book interviews. CV/ candidate section. Follow up and feedback
  • Payroll assistance/ admin – inputting hours from timesheets, providing data to be submitted to the external payroll company etc
  • Replying to enquiries in a timely manner and offering a first-class customer service experience to all stakeholders
  • Provide supporting internal and remote staff members with regards to HR policies and procedures
  • Referencing; ensure that full vetting of a 5-year history check is completed in line with CAA regulations
  • To provide employee relations support to the business/ stakeholders
  • Support training by sourcing training providers, updating staff records
  • Travel to Heathrow (expected once a month)

Previous experience

  • We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in a similar role (a varied HR role),
  • Someone with a strong and organised personality coupled with a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Proven admin skills / use of all MS applications
  • Ability to working in a very busy/ ever-changing environment
  • Proven relationship building experience
  • Ideally CIPD or studying towards an HR qualification
  • Driving licence is as advantageous
