Our client is a manufacturing/ warehouse services company which supports the airline industry
The job: We are looking for an exceptionally organised and communicative HR Officer to support the business in their recruitment, HR and payroll activities. This is could be considered as a full or part-time role (both roles to be carried out over 5 days /between Monday to Friday). This role is an autonomous role that provides first class HR support to the Gatwick and Heathrow sites (Based in Gatwick)
- HR Administration – producing starter packs/ offer letters, assisting in airport referencing processes, providing info to employees on company polices via phone and email, creating / updating staff records
- Recruitment – liaising with internal stakeholders, agencies and direct candidates to organise/ book interviews. CV/ candidate section. Follow up and feedback
- Payroll assistance/ admin – inputting hours from timesheets, providing data to be submitted to the external payroll company etc
- Replying to enquiries in a timely manner and offering a first-class customer service experience to all stakeholders
- Provide supporting internal and remote staff members with regards to HR policies and procedures
- Referencing; ensure that full vetting of a 5-year history check is completed in line with CAA regulations
- To provide employee relations support to the business/ stakeholders
- Support training by sourcing training providers, updating staff records
- Travel to Heathrow (expected once a month)
Previous experience
- We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in a similar role (a varied HR role),
- Someone with a strong and organised personality coupled with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Proven admin skills / use of all MS applications
- Ability to working in a very busy/ ever-changing environment
- Proven relationship building experience
- Ideally CIPD or studying towards an HR qualification
- Driving licence is as advantageous
