Office Angels Taunton are currently working with a local thriving industrial distributor to recruit for an exciting new position as a Part Time Marketing Assistant.

The position of Part Time Marketing Assistant based in Wellington, Somerset is a permanent, part time position ideally working 4 half days per week (16 hours) with an hourly pay rate of £12 - £13 per hour.

This company is seeking a candidate with experience working in a B2B office environment. You will be a good communicator and have a flair for marketing across a range of digital channels.

You should have experience in email marketing platforms such as Mail Chimp, Zoho Campaigns or similar applications, photo editing and use of WordPress for updating the website and monitoring SEO.

A precise structured work style and attention to detail are essential...plus a down to earth and friendly character with a good sense of humour.

Specific duties will include:

Entering Prospect & Customer details on CRM system
Preparing and maintaining email lists
Preparing and sending email mailshots
Maintaining and updating Linked In profiles for colleagues
Writing new releases, for blogs or other publications, exhibition catalogues
Basic website updates (WordPress) - news updates etc
Web research to find potential new customers
Telephone calling to find out the correct contact person and making the initial introduction
Emailing prospects datasheets or brochures
Preparing quotations and emailing to customers
Preparing product price list and updating systems
Maintaining product brochure stocks
Managing Google AdWords
Monitoring Google SEO and website effectiveness
Preparing dispatch notes
Processing incoming orders
Answering the phone Working in a small team environment you will need to be a team player and happy with occasional lone working. You will need to be comfortable with dogs as the family Labrador often makes a guest appearance in the office!
