Strood Academy has a fantastic opportunity to appoint a Peripatetic Dance Teacher/Instructor who can deliver high-quality learning opportunities for our students in this curriculum area, joining us for the new academic year in September 2019. This is a part-time position – 4 hours per week teaching plus up to 4 hours per week preparation time – which is ideal for candidates who have other work commitments. If successful, you will be part of a strong and stable PE Department who can offer you support and mentoring where needed. Whilst this role is offered on a fixed term basis in the first instance between September - July 2020 covering maternity, our central Recruitment Team will work with you to secure a substantive position with the family of Trust academies thereafter.

The remuneration offered will reflect the successful candidate’s qualifications and teaching experience – Qualified Teacher Status is not essential for this role, but experience in teaching Dance to secondary-aged students is a must.
