Job Details

We’re looking for seeking a highly organised professional Research Administrator, with a science or healthcare background and strong attention to detail, to join our clients Research team in London.

Position: Research Administrator

Location: London (office based)

Hours: 21 hours per week

Salary: circa £14,000 per annum (including £1,900 inner London weighting)

Contract: Fixed term for 23 months

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Research Awards, the Research Administrator will:

  • Work with members of the team to assist with the research award process and deliver the logistics associated with the adjudication process.
  • Work with the Research Awards Officer to ensure the appropriate day to day administration of on-going funded awards.
  • Administer queries from researchers and assist with organisation of research meetings and workshops.

About You

With a professional attitude, the Research Administrator will:

  • Be educated to A-level or above, including science or health subject(s).
  • Be enthusiastic about medical and healthcare research.
  • Be an excellent team worker with a proven ability to manage a number of projects unsupervised.
  • Be tactful and diplomatic.
  • Be confident and well organised.
  • Be able to work with and attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Be able to communicate articulately and effectively with a range of different people, including staff, trustees and researchers.
