About the role:

As Finance Officer you will assist the Finance Manager in maintaining accounting records and the production of monthly management accounts, year-end financial accounts, budgets and forecasts, working for one of the largest charities in Leicestershire.

You will contribute to the development, design and implementation of internal financial systems, processes and procedures and develop and maintain business partnering arrangements with managers.

About you:

To be successful in the role of Finance officer the following skills and experience are essential:

• AAT qualified
• Substantial experience of working in a Finance office
• Substantial experience of dealing with fixed assets, depreciation, prepayments, accruals and control accounts
• Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
• Highly numerate, with excellent attention to detail
• Working experience and knowledge of accounting software systems
