Job Details

We’re looking for recent graduates to join our Investor Solutions Group within Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets; a leader in alternative asset management worldwide, specialising in infrastructure and other real asset classes.

Investor Solutions Group plays a critical role in the Infrastructure & Real Assets value proposition, with responsibility for developing new products, raising capital from investors, and managing relationships with our existing client base. Investor Solutions Group also manages investor requests, designs and establishes new funds and products, and is responsible for marketing these to our European client base. Business Analysts within this group will support senior members of the business in delivering these key business priorities.

As a Business Analyst in the Investor Solutions Group Europe, you will work with the core team in London. In this role, you’ll familiarize yourself with the Infrastructure & Real Assets value proposition, build a strong understanding of our platform and business model, as well as the track record and strategy of its managed funds and the underlying assets. You will also assist with providing investor reporting and updates and develop market analysis to deliver new clients to the business. From a professional development perspective, this is a great opportunity for you to gain broad exposure across infrastructure assets and sectors, but also across other real assets sectors, such as real estate and agriculture. As a result, you will be at the heart of the Infrastructure & Real Assets business, and will develop an understanding for this diverse investor base.

You’ll also get to be involved with:

- supporting our global fundraising efforts
- learning to use various Infrastructure & Real Assets systems and processes
- organising roadshows, investor meetings and other interactions with clients.

You will have previous work experience in an investment bank or in infrastructure and utilities funds, knowledge of global funds management, investment banking or strategy consulting and strong financial acumen. You will need a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant subject, and be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of financial accounting, corporate finance and business reporting.

If you’re looking to kickstart your career within a global and high-performing organisation, apply online now.

Working at Macquarie

We believe in providing a positive environment for all our staff that is innovative and inspiring. For our female staff, Macquarie’s senior leaders are actively involved in increasing the representation of females in management positions.  In June 2014, we launched a mentoring programme for females, with the following two objectives:

  • Address female retention rates at Senior Manager level and improve our diverse pipeline of talent;
  • Engage female Senior Managers by providing tools and support around their personal development;

The programme pairs up Senior Managers with Directors, who meet on a monthly basis, and are supported by active group sessions (bi-monthly) with an external facilitator.

We select some of the brightest minds to help us in solving complex challenges for our clients.  We recognise that recruiting talent from varied backgrounds is essential to improving our understanding of the marketplace, and enhancing creativity and problem-solving capabilities in our businesses.

Because of this, our commitment to you is to create a diverse and inclusive workplace regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or cultural background.

We make this commitment not only because it is the right thing to do but it opens up a world of opportunity, securing the future of our people, our success and our business
