Part Time EYFS TA Role

An exciting opportunity has risen in a small Primary School in Across Derby . This role is for an EYFS TA / Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant will be part time and rotas will vary week on week.

You must be able to work within an early years setting and be confident in assistant a teacher in delivering a well-structured lesson. Excellent knowledge of phonics is crucial and experience working children of low ability is a must.

This is a school in a beautiful setting and they very rarely have a need for new staff. The school has 2 long standing TA’s that will be retiring and therefore has created this rare vacancy.

The successful candidate will find the team very welcoming and a strong community feel to the area. The head has a fantastic record of staff retention and makes an extra effort to support all staff at all levels.

You must have at least a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role and have two very good references. A degree in education studies or a LV 1,2 0r 3 in childcare or equivalent is needed to be considered for this role.
