Job description

We are looking for a new Digital Adoption and Coaching Lead to join the department’s Digital Services (DS) Team. You will develop and implement training and coaching plans and events to increase the adoption of internal-facing digital products developed or deployed by the Digital Service. You will focus on the people side of adoption, and the need to increase digital skills and capabilities, to help deliver DfT’s Digital Strategy. 

You will be part of the Department’s Digital Change and Adoption Team, working closely with teams and stakeholders across the DfT. 

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to; 

• Creating and organising adoption training and coaching plans and events. 

• Increasing the adoption and confidence of digital tools such as O365. 

• Developing coaching plans for small teams to build on-going digital capability. 

• Collecting and analysing metrics to measure user training feedback and identifying gaps to improve data. 

• Engaging and building strong relationships with stakeholders in all business areas. 

• Developing training curricula and training guidance. 

• Actively publicise and create innovative ways to promote and engage users with proposed training and coaching events. 

• Deliver Training to small groups of people and teams.

Responsibilities

About You 

We are looking for a motivated, organised and flexible individual with the ability to be creative and drive training and coaching in DfT, whilst working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. You will be a confident communicator with experience of organising events and experience of articulating messages through a variety of channels and audience. You will be competent in analysing complex information and put forward your ideas to improve the data. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with experience of working with staff at all levels.
