About the job:
Your role will be to help care and support individuals between the ages of 10-18 year olds who may have physical or learning disabilities. You will encourage them to live as independently as possible, helping them to cook, clean, go shopping and to appointments and helping them into the community. Your role is to have a nurturing nature and put a smile on their face.

About you:
We are looking for support workers with experience working with mental health, EBD, have a housing background and experience with children in a residential setting. This is an exciting opportunity in Cheltenham as this is an on-going agreement with a leading care provider who is looking for enthusiastic individuals to help them where possible.

Applicants must have a 1 year experience in health and social care and access to your own vehicle is desirable.

Requirements:
As you know, to work in social care you need to be able to evidence a minimum of 12 months work experience and ideally hold a care qualification. Your reference details will need to cover a minimum of 2-5 years. You will need to have a current DBS taken out through us or one on the update service.

Pay/Benefits:
The benefits will include double pay on bank holidays, accrued holiday pay, pension scheme, 24 hour support 365 days a year, reward and recognition and the potential for a permanent job.
