Supported Living Scheme/Service Manager
Raunds Northants
£26,000 PER ANNUM
Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Our client is currently seeking a Supported Living Scheme Manager for their supported living development of accessible and attractive one bedroom apartments in the Raunds area of Northampton for individuals who require specialist, individualised and person centred support with learning disabilities.
All the apartments are self-contained and consist of bedroom, bathroom, hallway, living room and an accessible and adjustable kitchen.
White goods and integrated appliances including oven and induction hob are provided for each apartment. Assistive Technology is available to enhance independence.
There is a communal garden and parking available on site and the scheme is situated in an excellent location, close to local amenities and good transport links
You will need to be:
* organised with the ability to meet deadlines.
* an excellent communicator with the ability to talk to people at all levels.
* NVQ level 4 and be prepared to work towards a Diploma level 5 if you do not already hold this.
* experienced with a minimum of 3 years in management
* a person centered person who will be able to deliver a flag ship scheme.
* a manager with a truly caring and supportive attitude towards others, founded on respect and an effective work style that is responsive, participative and creative!
* able to show your skills and knowledge around assessment, funding arrangements, and transition planning.
* experienced in IT, Finance, Rota management and the understanding of operational systems a must.
* a good communicator in order to work effectively with families/carers, housing partners, local commissioning teams and key health and social care professionals.
