Salary: £24,023 - £31,341 (inclusive of HCAA)
Description: This NHS Foundation Trust has been on a long journey of development and improvement to its current position as the largest provider of acute hospital services to Surrey residents.
An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic, independent and committed nurse to join their highly motivated ICU team as a Band 5 Staff Nurse. Their ICU has 13 beds with capacity to care for eight level 3 and five level 2 patients. This ICU unit has been rated “outstanding” by the CQC and is a paperless unit running an EMR software programme.
The Critical Care Unit has a team of experienced and welcoming staff. There is a supportive culture and potential to grow, expand and consolidate your critical care skills. They provide care for medical and surgical patients requiring emergency care, offering mechanical ventilation, piped Heliox, haemofiltration, cardiac output monitoring and intra-aortic balloon pump among others.

Person Specification: NMC Registered First Level Nurse (RGN/RN Adult). Critical care experience (ICU/ITU/HDU) is essential, though newly qualified nurses are welcome to apply as mentorship and robust preceptorships are available.
Benefits: The hospital have on site accommodation, Competitive salary, pension scheme, continuous training & development, 27 days per annum rising with years of service plus 8 days Bank Holidays, pro rata. High cost allowance 5% of basic salary. In addition, our client will offer ILS and simulation training and a competency-based development pathway for Bands 5’s with opportunity to apply to Critical Care Modules at Brighton University
