A well-established accountancy firm based in Chingford.

Role

The Company is recruiting for a Part Time Payroll Assistant. The successful candidate will manage and run payroll for clients, monthly and weekly payroll along with CIS, including Childcare vouchers, Auto enrolment, and P11D’s etc.

The successful candidate will have prior knowledge of running in house payroll and have used Moneysoft PAYE software.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for running monthly and weekly payrolls for clients using Moneysoft PAYE software.
  • PAYE set up and registrations.
  • Maintaining a checklist and undertaking the pension declaration via NEST as required.
  • Producing childcare vouchers as required.
  • Completion of PAYE RTI submissions to HMRC as required by clients depending on their payroll requirements.
  • Management of CIS Checklist and leading on obtaining Ltd company CIS repayments from HMRC.
  • Monthly CIS filing.
  • Providing CIS instructions to clients re: registration and verification.
  • Gross Status.
  • Produce annual P11D’s and P60’s
  • CITB
  • Processing of SSP /SMP/SPP/SAP
  • First point of contact for PAYE queries from clients
  • Liaising with HMRC and resolving problems.
  • Batch processing.
  • Earlier year updates.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of Moneysoft PAYE software, essential
  • Knowledge of SSP/ SMP/SPP/SAP, auto enrolment and childcare vouchers
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent attention to detail and client focus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Highly organised and motivated

  • Able to deal with confidential / sensitive information
  • Ability to work off own initiative
  • Flexible can do attitude

Part time hours 2-3 days a week, can accommodate school hours. EG 9.30am to 3.00pm.
