Practice Accountant - Part time
Stourbridge £11 - 14ph
Wallis Lynch are currently working with a small accountancy practice in Stourbridge to recruit a part time Accountant to support the business owner in a full range of accounting activities. Business is booming at the moment for our client, hence the need to recruit this additional resource.
About the role:
Ideally our client is looking for this person to be able to commit to a flexible couple of days a week, or school hours, which could be subject to slight fluctuation at busy periods. Responsibilities will include:-
Production of clients accounts from start to finish
VAT preparation
Payroll preparation
Provision of client support on all accountancy and cloud accounting system advice
All HMRC returns
Train and develop a junior member of the team
Requirements:
You will need to be an experienced practice accountant with previous experience of working in an environment where you have offered a client base a full accountancy support service, ideally with a min of 2 - 3 years experience. It is ideal if you also have previous knowledge of using accounting packages such as Sage, Xero, Quickbooks and most importantly Iris. Previous experience of developing juniors will be highly advantageous too.
