Staff:

Veterinary Surgeons – two full time and three part time

Veterinary Nurses – two full time and five part time

Veterinary Care Assistants - two full time and two part time

Animal Care Assistants - three full time and three part time

Receptionists - four part time

Volunteers - we frequently have volunteers of all disciplines assisting at the site, including vets, nurses, receptionists, waiting room assistants and groundskeepers.

5 Consult Rooms
2 Operating Theatres
1 Dental Room
Digital X-ray Machine
Ultrasound
Endoscope

Saturday morning rota only; 1:5 for vets, 1:7 for nurses and 1:4 for receptionists

About the Role:

We are now seeking a Veterinary Surgeon (VS), the role is responsible for the delivery of an efficient, professional and caring service to PDSA clients, providing a high standard of customer service and clinical care whilst also promoting pet wellbeing and delivering preventive services.

About You:

The successful candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon and responsible for updating their knowledge by attending regular CPD training. You will be involved in all aspects of clinical governance at the Pet Hospital, responsible for managing cases cost-effectively, encouraging financial contributions from clients, and making sure that PDSA resources are used appropriately.
