Neuro Rehabilitation Doctor, Central London, Full Time, Permanent, up to £60,000 + Benefits

Key Details: I am recruiting for an experienced Resident Medical Officer with an interest in Neuro-rehabilitation to join a Private Hospital in C.London, To be part of an amazing team to care for patients with a range of neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, encephalitis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and Guillain-Barre syndrome.

The Key details are -

Location: Central London - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum / £26.44 - £28.84 per hour based on 40 hours per week.

Hours: Full Time & Part Time available - 40 Hours Per Week - For X3 12 hour shifts per week determined by rota. Rotas provided on average 6 to 8 weeks in advance to plan worklife balance.

Contract Type: Permanent

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit an RMO to join a Private Hospital in London to ensure that any changes to the medical management plan for a patient, as agreed with their named consultant, are communicated immediately to the nurse in charge and relevant members of the multidisciplinary team. To review all new admissions to the unit as soon as is reasonably possible, complete the Neurorehabilitation Clerking Proforma and new drug chart and inform the named consultant of the patient's arrival. To accompany consultants on ward rounds of their patients, at their request. To perform routine basic clinical skills for inpatients as required, i.e. venepuncture, drawing blood cultures, peripheral IV cannulation, arterial and venous blood gas sampling, nasogastric tube insertion and urethral catheter insertion, and support nursing staff undergoing training to develop and perform these clinical skills independently.

Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this RMO opportunity to possess full without restrictions GMC registration. MBBS or equivalent medical qualification. MRCP or equivalent postgraduate medical diploma. Advanced Life Support (ALS) qualification. ST3 level and above medically trained General Medicine or equivalent. Experience in clinical neurology, stroke medicine or rehabilitation medicine, desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team
