Occupational Health Technician

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Technician to support the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Advisors of this public sector OH Team to deliver a high quality health provision.

As the Occupational Health Technician your duties will include

• Health Surveillance
• Pre employment medicals
• Assisting OH Physicians during clinics and undertake chaperone duties
• Maintaining and updating OH database and other relevant admin tasks
• Maintain Clinic stock levels and participate general housekeeping of the clinic plus calibration of the clinic equipment.
• Health Promotion

As the successful Occupational Health Technician candidate you will have:

• Previous experience as an Occupational Health Technician or Health Care Assistant
• Experience of conducting health surveillance including spirometry, audiometry and vision screening
• Experience of health and wellbeing promotion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A proficient IT user
• A full driving license and own car with willingness to travel within Gloucestershire when required.
