Protea Care Homes is an growing organisation which provides high quality person-centred social care services for adults with learning disabilities and mental health diagnosis, within supported living services in the community. Our teams provide 24/7 support to the Service Users needs (including lone working) on a rota and shift basis. The Role:
As a Support Worker at Protea Care Homes your main duties will include:
-supporting Service Users to access amenities that are in the community
-supporting Service Users with professional and personal relationships
-supporting Service Users with accessing education and employment
-supporting Service Users to set and meet goals
-supporting Service Users with their physical health
-ensuring the Service Users home is Safe, Caring, Effective and Responsive
-assisting line managers with ensuring that the service meets all requirements

The Package:

- The opportunity to work within a wide range of different environments on a weekly basis
Full, part time and bank hours are available. Experience not necessary. Training will be provided. Hours are to be worked flexibly on a rota which ensures 24/7 support. Shift patterns vary (also include sleep ins or waking night shifts).
You will therefore be required to work in a flexible manner on rota which will include evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays according to the needs of the service. We offer an enhanced rate for working night shifts.
All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and will be required to complete a DBS and provide 2 satisfactory references. One must be the most recent employer
