Job Title: Occupational Health Advisor Location: North East Salary: £40,000 Occupational Health Advisor Job Description A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a permanent Occupational Health Advisor based in the North East on a part time basis, 4 days per week. This is a site based Occupational Health Advisor role working for a privately owned Occupational Health provider on one particular high profile contract. Occupational Health Advisor Job Requirements: The Occupational Health Advisor will be based in the North East supporting the business to deliver and maintain the highest standards of clinical and advisory services to clients across Durham and Gateshead. The Occupational Health Advisor will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality occupational health nursing service. The Occupational Health Advisor will have a lot of autonomy and a wide range of opportunity to develop the service. The Occupational Health Advisor will undertake the full remit of Occupational Health and play a leading role in delivering and co-ordinating Occupational Health services and will be required to carry out case management referrals as well as any pre-placements, health surveillance including HAVS qualification up to tier 3, drug & alcohol testing and OH medicals such as Safety Critical and Fitness to Work. Occupational Health Advisor Skills/ Qualifications: My client is looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor. A qualification in occupational health would be desirable but this is not essential as long as you have proven experience. The Occupational Health Advisor role will need to be able to work autonomously and have excellent communication skills, exemplary customer care skills, commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of Word, Outlook and Excel.
