We are now looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to join the team at Westwood Community Hub on a part time 6 month contract to provide an invaluable administration support function to the team

Requirements

This is what we are looking for…

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Understanding of a commitment to Customer Care principals
  • Knowledge of using computer based IT systems including Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, QLX etc.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of arithmetical skills
  • Good understanding of confidentiality
  • Experience of working in an administration role
  • Experience of dealing with customers over the telephone and face to face
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a patient, sympathetic and tactful way by telephone with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work as a team member and under own initiative and manage a heavy workload
  • Ability to contribute to and maintain high quality service delivery by performing to targets
  • Ability to record information accurately & concisely
  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Able to work in a pressurised environment and to make decisions and initiate action in a calm, efficient manner
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise competing work priorities.
  • English and Maths to grade A-C GCSE (or equivalent)
  • This role is based at our Westwood Community Hub
  • This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check
