The role

The UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO), based in award-winning offices in Taunton, Somerset, is seeking an experienced finance/accounts professional to join their busy finance team on a part time basis, as a Treasury Assistant.

As a Treasury Assistant, you will support the UKHO’s move to new markets, as well as our ongoing capital investment programmes by successfully managing cash flow activities. This will include determining whether to invest surplus funds.  You will also be responsible for daily banking facilities (including payroll, foreign payments and staff sales) and ensuring financial regularity within all transactions, highlighting any non-conformities to management.

A methodical and organised individual, you will be able to carefully balance the requirement for instant access to funds with maximising the investment potential of surplus funds.  You will also be able to successfully prioritise payments and process within critical time frames.
