Our client a leading healthcare provider is looking to recruit a qualified Occupational Health Advisor based in Cambridge.This position will support the Occupational Health Manager in providing quality, commercial Occupational Health to the corporate sector.

The Remit-

Case Management
Sickness Absence
Audiometry
Spirometry
Phlebotomy
Immunisations
Pre Placement Screening

The post holder will be highly organised and able to work autonomously, be highly motivated, enthusiastic and respond positively to a challenging and varied role. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral are essential. The post holder will be able to manage multiple issues whilst prioritising work assignments.

Registered General Nurse (Level 1)

Qualified OHA Degree or Diploma

Commercial sector experience, minimum 2 years post qualification.

Proven clinical skills including audiometry, spirometry, phlebotomy and immunisation

Competent with management referrals & new starter health screening

Competent with basic IT functions such as the use of Microsoft Office.

Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values, and ensure commerciality.

Demonstrate knowledge of the full OH remit, keeping sound medical notes for each of the following:

New starter screening - be competent in paper based health screening to determine medical capability to carry out a defined role.

Sickness absence and health management - conduct assessments and provide robust reports to management on medical conditions affecting an employee's ability to work.

Health surveillance - undertake routine assessment across a range of topics such as spirometry, audiology, phlebotomy, immunisation skin assessment, fork lift truck medicals and HAVs.

Health and wellbeing - deliver health promotion activities
