Drug & Alcohol Misuse Worker - Liverpool - Part time/Temporary
BS Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced support worker to work in a hostel setting providing support to vulnerable adults suffering with drug and alcohol misuse. Working flexible hours working around your own clock, this role allows you to work your ideal role without disrupting your daily schedule!
This unique opportunity gives you the chance to widen your experience in the health and social sector, giving you the chance to work with a variety of clients and service users, providing the best support.
Your role would involve assisting with daily duties, prompting service users in a good direction, providing emotional support, and supporting in general with drug and alcohol misuse.
Qualities that are expected would be to keep a calm head in stressful/challenging situations, create a safe supportive environment & to put service users at ease. We are looking for confident caring individuals who have a genuine passion for the care sector and helping others.
To qualify for this role you must have at least a years paid experience within the last 2 years, or 6 months paid experience within the last year. A DBS is required, a NVQ is preferred but not necessary.
The salary for this role is £9.00 p/h hour however can go up
