Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Location: Swanton Novers, Norfolk (commutable from Fakenham and Holt)
Hours: 33 hours per week – 11 hour shifts
Salary: £8.78 p/h

About the role of Kitchen Assistant:

The role will give you the opportunity to develop your cooking and baking skills so you can produce well balanced, homemade and nutritious food for breakfast, lunch and evening meal services. Some of our 31 residents do have special dietary needs, but you will be trained to plan and present these as well.

As well as what you might expect from a role like this - veg prep, food service, health, food safety and hygiene duties to keep the high standards we have achieved to reach our 5-star food hygiene rating, this role offers much more.

The role is within easy reach of Fakenham, Dereham, Holt as well as the North Norfolk coast and due to our client’s rural location you should own your own vehicle.

The nature of business requires kitchen staff to be available for work over bank holidays including Christmas and New Year.
