The PR Manager is responsible for driving LSH's PR activity across its service lines and regions, providing expert guidance to individuals and teams from inception through to delivery.

Reporting into the Head of Comms/Interim Head of Marketing, the position is a new role to kick-start LSH's in-house PR function.

This full time position is based in the London office with interaction and some travel to regional offices.

The successful candidate will be degree educated, confident, with excellent written and communication skills and an eye for detail. This role would particularly suit someone with a professional services or agency background. They will be able to operate across all spectrums of the business, building key relationships with stakeholders and support staff, and become an ambassador for our brand.

Main duties

Main responsibilities:

  • Devising and delivering a proactive and reactive PR strategy for LSH.
  • Manage relationships with key journalists - spanning national, trade, and regional media - and in-house research and content teams.
  • Sourcing the story, delivering it i.e. writing press releases and proactively calling and pitching content to relevant publications/freelance journalists.
  • Copywriting to support corporate/business development initiatives.
  • Proactively build and produce regular viewpoint articles and commentary on the property market.
  • Production of how to, hints and tips and other guides for our fee earners to utilise.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all external press, and industry associations to ensure the business capitalises on all potential PR opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a PR calendar of activity.
  • Identifying and capitalising on event speaker opportunities.
  • Crisis communications.
  • Researching and writing industry award submissions.
  • Support the development and implementation of national marketing campaign plans including social media posts.
  • Analyse PR campaigns to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Act as a brand champion.
  • Website and intranet content publishing.
  • Contributing to monthly Board Reports.
  • Supporting the firm's new CSR blog with content contribution.
  • Evaluating PR campaigns for their effectiveness and ROI.
