Job Details

Becoming a Recruitment Administrator with Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP):

Salary: £17k-£20k

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm

6-month fixed term contract, moving onto a rolling contract

A mixture of administrative tasks aimed at enabling recruiters to have more time with candidates for nurture and other active pipeline management activities. Some tasks will need to be implemented physically within the allocated office, others will support a group of army careers centres (ACC's) with 'virtual' admin, where as some may require the administrator to be mobile between ACC's to deliver physical support on peak demand days.

What you will do:

  • Printing, scanning and processing of candidate medical documents

  • Processing of candidate pre-employment documentation prior to Assessment Centre

  • Preparation of candidate interview packs and administration for Candidate Open Days

  • Chasing candidates for consent forms

  • General updating of the Application Tracking System - DRS

  • Updating notes on DRS on behalf of recruiters

  • The handling and processing of incoming/outgoing calls

  • The handing and processing of data on behalf of recruiters

  • The Issuing of standard candidate letters - withdrawal/appeals

  • The processing of candidate's withdrawals

  • Supporting maintenance / updates of candidate trackers

  • Adhere to data protection and security requirements.

  • Represent the headquarters credibly and responsibly.

  • Play a full part in making Recruiting Group a great place to work.

  • Provide a quality service to internal and external customers.

  • Ensure own performance impacts positively on headquarters performance and the partnership's reputation.

  • Apply a flexible approach to work and report any issues that may impact business performance.

  • Take ownership for your personal performance targets and development.

  • Regularly suggest valid, constructive and appropriate ideas to improve people processes, customer service, partnership and/or reputation.

     

 

Your experience will include:

  • IT Literate, particularly MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • Will need to be able to operate the Defence Recruiting System (training provided)

  • Well organised

  • Good attention to detail

  • Administrative experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Passion for customer service

  • Good team player

  • Familiarity with the British Army and Army Careers (Desirable)

  • Experience of recruitment (Desirable)
