At Depaul UK we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Coordinator come and join our team in the North East. You will join us on a part time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £13,247.40 pro rata plus pension & other great benefits.

The Programme Coordinator role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Depaul Programmes team as the Programmes Coordinator promoting and delivering successful activities to young people across the region.

The focus of this role is to organize and deliver progression opportunities for young people supporting them to realise their ambitions into education training, volunteering or employment.

You’ll also develop and deliver partnerships with organisations who can support Depaul clients in their progression into employment, training and education (ETE) and volunteering.

What makes this role exciting?

- A full induction and training to enhance the ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ skills required’.

- Continuous support and supervision including reflective practice to develop your learning and skills as a practitioner.

- This role is flexible and you can take a creative approach to supporting young people

What will ideally support your success in the Programme Coordinator role?

- Ideally you’ll have experience in delivering engagement programmes to young people

- You’ll have an understanding of the issues faced by vulnerable young homeless people

- You’ll have an understanding of how to successfully support clients into education, training, volunteering and employment opportunities.

- Developing effective relationships both internally and with external partnership organisations will be fundamental to this role, and is further supported by good communication skills

- You’ll also be able to demonstrate clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures
