Ford & Stanley - The Railway Specialists are currently working with a rapidly expanding company based in Newark who are looking for a Technical Project Assistant to join their team. The role holds a huge importance to the future success of the business. Key responsibilities:

Provide full support to the project delivery manager and commercial & contracts manager on an administrative level including requirements from site-based teams.
Write technical work package plans, task briefings, manage site pack information, subcontractor suitability and monitoring
Deliver/ head up project start up and completion meetings alongside the commercial and contracts manager and produce documented lesson learnt documentation to develop future projects
Produce project documentation in line with auditable criteria, such WPP/TB/RAMS, ITP, EWN, RFI, TQ, FAT, SAT/Commissioning Plan, Training Docs, Completion Documentation.
Developing/ improving and then maintaining current 'site packs' which the company have in place. Storing returned documentation on the system in accordance with processes.
Monitoring of programmes in line with clients. Reporting back to the commercial & contracts manager on internal issues and keeping the client updated on progress or potential delays beyond our control.
Carry out a quality control role of auditing, to ensure compliance with company standards and procedure across all projects and sites.
Cover, where feasible for the Project Delivery Manager and Commercial & Contracts Manager.
Support the project team in ensuring Health and Safety excellence.Qualifications & Skills:

Ideally from an engineering background must have previous site experience with a sound knowledge of site activity.
Must hold NEBOSH or IOSH
Ideally hold Prince2® or similar training/ qualification in project managements/ processes.
Proficient in IT packages; MS Excel, Word Outlook & Project, Knowledge of AutoCAD & Inventor advantageous.
Design, technical and commercial overview skills, alongside an excellent attention to detail.
Must be self-motivated, proactive and be able to demonstrate ability to co-ordinate projects and work to demanding deadline
