The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years, and are now active in more than 70 countries.

The Opportunity:

As a Global Brand Manager, you will build on and develop innovative ways to enhance and drive Plan International’s bold, brave, energetic brand worldwide. You will facilitate powerful, memorable, efficient and compelling expressions of the Plan International brand, as befits our purpose, mission, values and youth focus.

The Person:

Demonstrable commercial or non-profit brand management experience in a large and complex organisation will be key to succeeding in this role, as will a track record of developing and implementing brand and communications strategies and tactics. In addition, you will have previous experience in managing external agencies, vendors and budgets. Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will help set the over-arching direction of our brand in collaboration with brand leads in our 20 fundraising markets, and you will serve as a strong day-to-day support mechanism for all efforts related to brand health, management and governance of the brand.
