We are looking for a responsible Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to perform a number of administrative tasks within a professional office. Duties of the candidate include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

Summary
To assist in ensuring that the administration function of the business is completed to the highest standard.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Being first point of contact for clients and visitors

* Answer the telephone and direct calls as appropriate

* Receive, sort and distribute post and emails

* Typing of dictated letters

* Photocopying, binding copies of accounts & scanning documents

* Cross checking and updating databases to ensure our records are correct

* General data entry

* Organising and scheduling meetings and appointments

* Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

Personal Attributes

* Educated to GCSE level

* Knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Microsoft Word.

* Positive approach to learning new skills

* Well-organised and good team player

Skills knowledge and aptitude

* Ability to work well in a team environment and meet deadlines

* Ability to work on own initiative

* Good communication skills

* Attention to detail

* Willingness to embrace training

* Ability to multi-task

Qualification and training

Working knowledge of:

* Word

* Excel

Job Type: Part-time (3 days per week)

Experience

Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)

Administrative assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
