Legal Secretary

I am recruiting for a legal secretary/legal assistant to join a busy, established law firm in Swindon. This is a permanent job working part time, ideally 3 full days per week (Monday-Wednesday, (phone number removed).

As a legal assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
Typing of legal documents
General admin support to partner and solicitor
Organising diaries
Meeting and greeting clients
Maintaining client confidentiality at all times
Taking phone calls and messages
Covering reception when needed
Filing, faxing, copying
Occasional off site working
Other day to day office duties as required
Skills and attributes needed:
1-2 years office based experience minimum
Experience in the legal industry would be an advantage, but this is not essential
Accuracy
Computer literate, including Microsoft Excel
Well presented, smart appearance
Ability to work as part of a team as well as taking own initiative
Flexible and adaptable approach towards changing business needs
Strong communication and listening skills
Good keyboard skills - touch/audio/copy typing
Ability to work hard and keep to strict deadlines
