Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers based in Barnwood, Gloucester is looking to recruit an experienced PA to the Head of GDA and administrative support to the team. This is a part time role of 22.2 hours per week, spread over 3 days covering maternity leave. The successful candidate will be working for Manpower at the client site on a temporary contract.

Overview

The job holder will provide professional, accurate and reliable PA support to the Head of GDA and administrative support to the team. This is a demanding post requiring excellent communication, organisational, prioritising and secretarial skills. A strong knowledge of complex diary management s essential to ensure effectiveness and the efficiency of the team. This position requires a high level of tact and integrity due to the frequency of senior level and external contacts and regular exposure to confidential data.

Nature and scope

This role requires organisational and administration skills and the post holder will demonstrate;

Confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
Compliance with health, safety, environment and other statutory requirements relevant to this role
Ability to work independently and be proactive
Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organisation and externally
Ability to deal with difficult enquiries

Principal Accountabilities

Provide a professional, accurate and reliable PA and administration support to the GDA team
Diary, travel and Itinerary Management for GDAO and wider GDA team
Document management/organisation and filing
Main point of contact for the Barnwood office (NNB area). Including updating fire muster sheets, desk allocation, stationary ordering etc.
Complete and assist with Visa applications for China travel
Manage the public comment panel process
