We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Nurse to join a Private Day Nursery based in Bristol on an on going temporary basis.

About this role

This is a full time temporary role where you will be working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday. You will become an integral part of the staffing team as this position is to cover a long term absence. Based in a toddler room the successful candidate will be working with their own key children so previous experience of this is desirable.

Duties of a Nursery Nurse:

* Contributing to the day to day running of the nursery in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
* Liaising with parents to offer ongoing support
* Providing a safe and stimulating child-centred environment
* Supporting other team members whilst taking instructions from centre leaders
* Encouraging child development through activities and play

Ideally you will have the following:

* Qualification in childcare or relevant recent experience
* Paediatric First Aid training is desirable
* Thorough knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted Statutory Framework
* Proven organisational skills
* Initiative coupled with a practical, problem-solving, ‘can-do’ attitude
* Enthusiasm about providing excellent levels of childcare
