My client who specialise in the support of young people with complex needs are currently seeking experienced Residential Support Workers to join their team
If you want to work for a Healthcare agency dedicated to looking after you then look no further, we have full time and part time hours for you.
Experience is essential, you must have the ability to build a rapport with young people. In many cases, the residents' behaviour can be difficult or challenging. That means you've got to be very patient, calm and resilient.
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll have a challenging but fulfilling job. Working with vulnerable young people in our children's homes, you'll provide them with personalised care and create a calm, safe living environment. That involves planning social and leisure activities, giving counselling and escorting children on activities, but most importantly creating a home!
Experience is essential, you must have the ability to build a rapport with young people. In many cases, the residents' behaviour can be difficult or challenging. That means you've got to be very patient, calm and resilient. In the meantime, we'll give you outstanding training to help you do your best. In return you'll need to be happy to work unsociable hours, including sleep-in duties and, wake nights and have flexibility to meet the needs of the home.
We offer full training in all mandatory area and PMVA training for all successful candidates
