Analyst 1 - Legionella – Coventry (3 roles)

An opportunity has arisen for 3 x Analyst 1’s in the Legionella team at ALS Environmental in Coventry, West Midlands.

As an Analyst 1 you will be completing, to the required quality standards, the analysis of samples for a range of Legionella methods.

About the Position/s

Role 1

Hours Per Week: 37

Days Per Week: Tuesday to Saturday (08:00 – 16:00)

Basis: Full Time and Fixed-Term (until December 2019) with the potential to become permanent

Annual Salary: £15,797

Role 2

Hours Per Week: 37

Days Per Week: Tuesday to Saturday (16:00 – 00:00)

Basis: Full Time and Fixed-Term (until March 2020) with the potential to become permanent

Annual Salary: £15,797 plus 10% shift allowance

Role 3

Hours Per Week: 37

Days Per Week: Tuesday to Saturday (16:00 – 00:00)

Basis: Full Time and Fixed-Term (until December 2019) with the potential to become permanent

Annual Salary: £15,797 plus 10% shift allowance

Closing Date for all 3 roles: 18th September 2019

Key accountabilities about the Position

* Samples completed in compliance with quality management system

* Samples completed to allocated quantities and deadlines

* Adhere to Health and Safety and Company policies and procedures

* Maintain daily service delivery to Company KPI’s

* Understand customer requirements

* Work with other team members to ensure efficient flow of samples

About you

To be successful in this role you will require the following Competencies:

* Ability to follow instructions and procedures

* Good communication skills

* Basic IT skills

* Work effectively in a team

* Ability to plan and organise own work area

* Attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records

* Flexible

Skills and Experience

* 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above to include Science, Maths and English

* A level or equivalent in scientific subject

* Ideally some laboratory experience
