Protocol are a full-service recruitment provider within the education, training & skills sector. Following a major re-brand last year, and an ambitious growth plan, we are now seeking a Marketing Manager to help Protocol on their continued journey to excellence.

The role
You will be required to work closely with the Head of Business Development, Head of Recruitment and Chief Executive to deliver marketing campaigns that support Protocol's business objectives. Leading and mentoring a small team, to create, implement and measure multi-channel campaigns including email marketing, online advertising, PR, social media, events, digital and print to generate leads from both clients and candidates.

Here at Protocol, we are extremely proud of the brand we have built over the years, and it will be your responsibility to ensure the brand is portrayed professionally at all times. This will include managing the digital footprint of the business, through web and social media, leading on the content management, maintenance and development of company websites through SEO and PPC.

The person & the company
This is a great opportunity to join a successful recruitment company, specialising in education, training and skills. The nature of the business offers an interesting blend for marketeers, as there is a need to undertake both B2B and B2C simultaneously.

The last 18 months have seen a comprehensive rebrand to position the company for further growth; and a related move to 'digital-first'. The successful candidate has the opportunity to grasp this work and push it forward to the next step, working collaboratively across the organisation to achieve the business plan. The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketeer with a strong grasp of brand, direct marketing and digital tools. They will be enthusiastic, collaborative and energetic, with the ability to motivate and challenge their team.

You will have proven experience implementing campaigns across multiple channels, creating engaging social media and website content, managing a website and coordinating the creation of marketing collateral. Experience working within recruitment or education sectors would also be advantageous.

Communication and organisation skills are paramount to success in this position, as you will be working within a busy team, multitasking and liaising with multiple areas of the business to ensure projects are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Naturally, much of the work delivered by marketing is seen by the public, colleagues and stakeholders - therefore attention to detail is crucial, ensuring we can maintain our high standards of communications, collateral and activity.

As a small but efficient team, proactivity is key to success in this role. The right post holder will enjoy the benefits of autonomy and be able to make a real difference - so the ability to show that you are a self-starter, forward thinking and can work on your own initiative will not be over looked.
