Planning Enforcement Officer
At Carrington West, we are delighted to be assisting our local authority client based in Devon with their search for a Planning Enforcement Officer to join their Planning Department on initial 3-month Contract.
As a Planning Enforcement Officer, your will be expected to:
-Handle the more complex enforcement cases, and particularly to monitor progress of these cases following the issue of formal notices or action
-Investigate cases of alleged unauthorised development and contraventions of planning control reported to the Council and to report on the facts established
-Prepare and issue Requisitions for information and Planning Contravention Notices; preparing site plans and to draft Enforcement and all other planning enforcement related Notices
-Prepare written evidence in connection with Planning Enforcement Appeals and related matters and to present expert evidence at planning Hearings, Public Inquiries and in Court proceedings
-Monitor progress on the implementation of Section 106 Agreements and undertakings
This position can be either full time or part time dependent on candidate availability and candidate rate requirement.
The council are happy to offer flexible working arrangements with 1/3 of the working time remotely.
Pay Rate : £32 - 40 Per Hour (Umbrella / Ltd)
