JOB TITLE: Marketing & Events Assistant

SALARY & BENEFITS: circa £20,000 to £23,000 plus attractive benefits

WORKING HOURS: Full Time Monday to Friday (Part Time hours of a minimum of 25 hours over 4 days would be considered for the right candidate)

Its growth has been significant in recent years and it continues to innovate and diversify, and now seeks a new Marketing & Events Assistant to join their team.

Our client is seeking to recruit a Marketing & Events Assistant to work with the Marketing Manager. Involved with all elements of marketing and events management in the UK, the role provides an exceptional opportunity to develop your marketing skills within a dynamic, fast-moving environment. You will organise promotional events, produce marketing materials and support the development of the company website. There will be considerable contact with the Sales team together with our global marketing colleagues which will include the occasional need to travel within this country as well as abroad

Our client is ideally looking for someone on a Full Time basis but will be pleased to consider offering part-time hours (minimum of 25 hours over 4 days) if appropriate, and for the right candidate.

THE CANDIDATE: Possessing a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in marketing, the new Marketing and Events Assistant will need to prove that they can work effectively within a team and also combine the ability to work on their own initiative with outstanding organisational skills. In addition, website support experience and a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office are key, as is the ability for occasional travel requirements. Candidates with experience in online or digital marketing are welcome to apply should they also have experience in face to face events or marketing promotions. Candidates will ideally hold a Driving Licence and use of their own vehicle and will need to live within commutable distance to Rushden, Northamptonshire.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Marketing & Events Assistant role :-

Minimum of 2 years experience in a Marketing and Events related role essential
Experience in creating promotional material including newsletters and online content
Must be highly organised and able to work on your own and as part of a small team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Good IT skills essential
Will need to live within commutable distance to Rushden, Northamptonshire
