Staff Nurse - Mental Health / Learning Disabilities care home

Location: Workington, Cumbria

Salary: up to £29,250 Per annum (£15 per hour) - salary negotiable depending on experience

Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours)

Shifts: Options of Days only (07.45 - 20.05) or Nights only (Apply online only)) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference

Further Details : An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced RMN's, or RNLD's to work within a a purpose-built care home which embraces and balances the management of risk with comfort, homeliness, dignity, respect and choice. It is a specialist service for men and women with a learning disability, autistic spectrum disorder and/or complex conditions such as mental health issues, personality disorder and behaviours considered as challenging. We are also able to support individuals with a forensic history.

Service Details: The service has a great reputation and looks after all areas of mental health treatment, rehabilitation and recovery. They have a very positive and supportive work environment with an innovative and forward thinking multi-disciplinary team. The have a very low staff turnover and staff morale is very high. They are very big on staff development and training.

The service has an excellent reputation for care quality and succeeds in offering an attentive, friendly and homely environment. situated in Workington, Cumbria in the heart of the local community within walking distance of an extensive range of local amenities and facilities. There are good transport links to the rest of Cumbria. There are also plenty of opportunities to undertake additional training courses externally on top of the extensive in-house training and clear career pathways for progression within the company

Shifts : The Service can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns and they are happy to consider nurses who prefer working days only or nights only. Their shift pattern is week 1 - 3 shifts and week 2 - 4 shifts based on 37.5 hour contract with hours set at days 07.45 - 20.05 and Nights (Apply online only).
