Staff Nurse - Mental Health PICU

Location: Annesley, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £27,373 to £34,490 p/a ( £14.03 - £17.68 p/h )

Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours)

Shifts: Run on a rotational basis 12 hours with 1.5 hours break and every other weekend ( (Apply online only) ) or ( (Apply online only) ) Mixed shifts on a rotational basis

Further Details : An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced RMN's, or RNLD's to work within an industry leading women's mental health hospital and rehabilitation centre in Annesley. There are currently vacancies for an experienced RMN or RNLD, the hopsital looks after the following patient group across 3 wards as below:

- a low secure continuing care ward

- a high dependency ward.- This ward supports patients who are of high risk to themselves and need more intensive care than is required in a standard inpatient rehabilitation unit

- a community-orientated inpatient rehabilitation ward

Service Details: The Hospital has a great reputation and looks after females with mental health issues, co-morbid conditions and borderline learning disabilities. They have a very positive and supportive work environment with an innovative and forward thinking multi-disciplinary team. The have a very low staff turnover and staff morale is very high. They are very big on staff development and training. They have an extremely high staff to patient ratio

The service has an excellent reputation for care quality and succeeds in offering an attentive, friendly and homely environment. The hospital itself has excellent facilities, there is an onsite gym, Salon, Tennis courts, rehab kitchens and access to the local community. There is a bus stop right outside and it is a short drive from the motorway. There is free parking on site and free meals on shift for all staff. Staff morale is very high and the CQC report is good in all areas.

There are also plenty of opportunities to undertake additional training courses externally on top of the extensive in-house training and clear career pathways for progression within the company

Shifts : The Service can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns and they cannot consider nurses who prefer working days only or nights only unfortunately.
