Nurse - Learning and Physical Disabilities Home
Location: Cumbria
Salary: £(phone number removed) per annum ( £17.50 per hour )
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours). The hospital can also consider fixed shifts.

Further Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced RGN, RMN, or RNLD to work within a Learning and Physical Disabilities service for patients aged 18-70 years old
The Home is located in Barrow in Furness and is a truly ideallic setting, surrounded by beaches, mountains and lakes. The home was opened over 50 years ago as day care centre and now boasts a residential home and learning and physical disabilities village.
Ideally located close to the motorway -there is lots of free parking on site
Service Details: There are 23 single rooms for Residents over the age of 18 who require long term nursing care. The majority of rooms have en-suite facilities. All bedrooms which require them are fitted with "Arjo" ceiling overhead tracking and hoist equipment which the staff are appropriately trained to use.
The service has an excellent reputation for care quality and succeeds in offering an attentive, friendly and homely environment. There is free parking on site and free meals on shift for all staff. Staff morale is very high and the CQC report is good in all areas after their recent inspection. This has been the case for a number of years.
The Hospital Manager has been with the company for a substantial amount of time and is highly-qualified in various areas of nursing, so would be keen to invest time into the training and development of all staff. There are also plenty of opportunities to undertake additional training courses externally on top of the extensive in-house training.
Shifts : The Hospital can accommodate part-time or full-time hours They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns Their shift pattern is 2000pm- 0800 am and run on a 5 on 5 off rota
