As Operations Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring all elements of trampoline park safety, team member training, guest experience and logistics are executed to standard and team communication is coordinated and effective. As Operations Manager you will have experience of working in a similar role for another trampoline park or will have proven experience within the leisure industry. You will be enthusiastic about solving problems and working with the Managing Director to continue to move the business forward at such an exciting time. Role:

The Operations Manager is an important leader on the park management team. In coordination with other members of the management team, this position is responsible for ensuring all elements of park safety, Team Member training, guest experience and logistics are executed to standard and team communication is coordinated and effective. The Operations Manager's ability to make sound decisions and tackle guest experience challenges is a key element to our success.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

This position manages the day-to-day operations of the park, including the maintenance, safety, administrative, and logistical functions. Serving as the Manager on Duty (MOD) is a primary responsibility.

  • Consistently demonstrate core values (Make it Fun, Keep it Safe, Be Healthy, Do Good and Deliver WoW) for Team Members and guests. Motivate the team and drive culture within the park.
  • Function as the Manager on Duty (MOD) (see below) and confidently function in and train all Team Member roles and responsibilities.
  • Deliver on the park's monthly departmental goals by anticipating and recognising business opportunities and leading the team to meet them.
  • Adopt and maintain standards, policies and procedures at all times including but not limited to: waiver policy, BSI standards, court rules, guest service, food safety, etc.
  • Provide the team with a welcoming and mutually supportive work environment
  • Resolve guest service issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Ensure Team Members are knowledgeable about all products, programs and promotions offered
  • Ensure inventory is managed appropriately, and maintain vendor relationships
  • Schedule team to meet the needs of the park and process payroll
  • Ensure the park is clean, organised and ready to Deliver Wow at all times
  • Oversee in-park marketing, including; banners, flyers, social media and website to meet required standards
  • Execute guest surveys and manage results
  • Manage the Fuel Zone to ensure local health department standards are met or exceeded
  • Supervise weekly inspections of the courts, court maintenance projects and inventory to ensure all BSI and standards are met or exceeded
  • Complete and maintain injury and incident records using the Forms Application. Report all incidents to the insurance agency in a timely manner and follow-up with injured guests as needed.
  • Interview, hire and evaluate Team Members. Maintain HR documentation for all Team Members under the direction of the General Manager
  • Train all new Team Members to successfully function in their roles, provide development and re-training opportunities as needed, and ensure all Team Members receive any necessary training on programs and promotions running in the park.
  • Stay current with the Home Zone (corporate office) communication and relay important messages to members of the park team In coordination with other members of the management team, this position is responsible for ensuring all elements of park safety, Team Member training, guest experience and logistics are executed to standard and team communication is coordinated and effective.
  • Manage Events team to Deliver WoW from the first guest interaction through event finalisation using consistent processes, coordination of event details, effective communication with guests and development of the guest relationships
  • Develop strategies to drive birthday party bookings and revenue.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven ability to motivate a team and drive culture to create results
  • Ability to solve problems under pressure while maintaining a fun, friendly environment
  • Previous management experience with new-to-the-workforce, part-time staff
  • Previous experience in a guest-facing environment
  • Experience with team scheduling
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Familiarity with social media skills are a plus
  • Café operations are a plus
