BS Social Care currently has a great opportunity for experienced Support Workers to join us on a flexible working basis. Our agency work with some of the best care providers around North London and the surrounding areas, and have many work available for support workers and carers looking for either full or part time hours.

We are currently recruiting for fantastic and passionate number of care and support workers to join a Day Centre to support service users with Learning difficulties and Dementia.

The role involves:

Support service users with all aspects of daily living including personal care, medication Daily living skills & Accessing the community on a rota basis.
Safeguarding service user's rights and dignity
Providing independence and social inclusion
Encouraging service users to be involved in decisions about their lives

Requirements of the role:

An effective team Player
Flexible to meet the needs of the service
Can work flexible hours
A positive attitude & passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals
Substantial Experience of supporting adults/young adults in a community setting
Can demonstrate a practical understanding of delivering personal care with dignity and Privacy
Can work independently and demonstrate good judgement
Excellent written and Verbal communication skills
Excellent IT skills
Reliable and punctual

Desirable:

Experience of providing support to adults with learning disabilities
NVQ 2/3 or equivenelt
