Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and committed part-time telephone advisor to join their Customer Services team to deal with enquiries coming into the contact centre, providing guidance and information, and processing customer requests covering a variety of services on behalf of the organisation and its partners. You will have recent experience of providing information and advice to the public in a busy customer service environment, preferably telephone based, and capable of handling a range of situations with tact, diplomacy and empathy. You will have excellent listening and communication skills, the ability to converse with all types of people, a polite and courteous attitude, and a commitment to providing excellent customer care. You will also be able to work well under pressure with a minimum of supervision while ensuring consistency and accuracy, and be proficient in the use of software systems, with good keyboard skills. Experience of working in front-line services would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided. There is an initial 4-week, full-time training programme You will be working to a fixed working pattern but will ideally be able to offer additional hours and some flexibility to help cover holidays and sickness if required. Working Pattern: 18.30 Hours per Week: Monday 10am - 3pm Wednesday 8.30am - 5pm (1 hour lunch) Friday 8.30am - 2.30pm
