Join our rapidly growing Macquarie Capital business as an Associate or Vice President within our market-leading Advisory team.

You will be advising on acquisition and refinancing debt which includes responsibility for building and/or overseeing financial models, drafting Term Sheets for all levels of debt within the Capital Structure, assisting in the preparation of Information Memoranda for banks and financial institutions bidding and building relationships with banks.

On a day-to-day basis you will deal with internal debt/bank queries, assist with the documentation process, assess the appropriate debt level and debt structure for potential acquisition, and discuss derivatives structure. Your role will require close cooperation with tax and legal advisors in structuring the deal and other colleagues from the M&A team to ensure the delivery of financing is done within tight timelines. In addition, you will also gather experience of external ratings assessments across some of the Energy, Renewables, Airports and Transport sectors.

To be considered for this position, you must have between 4-7 years of relevant experience gained in an investment banking environment. You will be able to demonstrate strong skills in debt structuring, creating financial documentation, financial modelling including cashflow and financial ratio analysis. Ideally you will have some experience or an interest in learning about the renewable energy industry.

If you have a fundamental knowledge of debt products across the capital structure and preferably experience within project finance, infrastructure and acquisition finance along with strong communication and organisation skills, we would like to hear from you.
