Are you a Registered Nurse who would like to develop your skills in palliative care If so, this is an amazing career development opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in palliative care and work across a range of palliative services.

We are looking for dedicated and caring individuals to join the In-Patient Unit as Registered Nurses on either a full or part-time basis.

We are looking for someone who is motivated to develop their skills and knowledge in Specialist Palliative Care and who can contribute to the high quality, compassionate care that we provide in a range of palliative services.

Responsible for coordinating and delivering care to patients with life limiting illnesses, implementing and evaluating their programmes of care. You will monitor symptom control issues, and support patients in developing coping strategies for living with symptoms. You will also be a lifeline for those closest to the patient, providing emotional and psychological support and referring to other teams within the Hospice.

Applicants should have a positive outlook, be self-motivated and have the ability to work on their own initiative, although a team approach is essential. Full training and developing in Palliative care will be provided.

Registered General Nurse
Interest in palliative care or relevant specialist field
Understanding of reflective practice
A passion for getting things right & aiming for excellence
