Job Summary:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will have experience of speaking to customers on the phone regularly seeking out new business and building good customer relationships. This is a role with a strong proactive element; where the right candidate can make a big difference to our business.
We're looking for someone self-motivated; that can complete day to day tasks efficiently and effectively, developing accounts. Previous experience in a sales development role is essential. Knowledge of the ACT! database would be highly desirable.
The job will be approximately 20 hours per week and can be carried out either in morning or afternoon sessions.
Main Duties:
* Management of ACT! Database system. General up-keep of the ACT! Database is essential and new or amended contact/company information must be updated.
* Proactively speaking to customers and prospects, with a view to generating new leads/enquiries to quote.
* Actively looking to develop and build customer relationships on a daily basis assisting with our sales growth effort
