Due to high demand, Better Healthcare would like to hear from experienced Health Care Assistant's in the Bedfordshire area for ongoing and ad-hoc temporary bookings.

We have a wide range of clients within Residential, Respite, Day Centres and Learning Disability sites, seeking HCA`s for a wide range of full time, part time and weekend shifts.

You will need at least three months experience of working in either elderly care or learning disabilities but most importantly you will have a passion for supporting and caring for elderly and vulnerable people.

Although we don`t require individuals with any direct qualifications, the following attributes would be desirable:

- Minimum 3 months care experience within a similar role and within a care establishment

- Valid DBS or happy to purchase

- Ability to communicate well, both written and verbally

- To be flexible, adaptable, pro-active and able to work in a team

- Ability to organise and prioritise workload under pressure

- A passionate individual ready to develop and learn new skills in order to progress in your role

- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care - desirable but not essential

- Care Certificate - desirable but not essential
