We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor for a 3 days a week contract working on an on-going basis, in the Southport area. Pay rate is negotiable, depending on suitability.
The company we are supplying this Quantity Surveyor to provide general construction, mechanical and electrical services to a mix of both public and private sector clients. This includes maintenance work, refurbishment projects and new build projects, both large and small scale.
Working as the successful Quantity Surveyor, you will be looking at jobs, estimating prices and writing schedule of works. Jobs will typically be between £100 and £15000 each and include things such as:
*Roof or pipe leaks
*A room could be in need of repair after fire damage
*Or maybe as simple as a brocken lock
*These jobs could be for a room, or a whole floor of a building
*Information on the job in hand could be provided by a site visit, or from information supplied by the end client including photos
The company provides general building and construction services, planned and reactive building maintenance services, Electrical, Mechanical, installation, emergency lighting and fire alarm installation, access control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm installation and maintenance. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining a company that is very well-established and will enjoy on-going continuity of work.
