We are currently seeking a full-time or part time member of staff to join our team. We are a small family run business selling fuel across North Devon based just outside of Barnstaple.

We are looking for a candidate who is friendly, personable, and able to work as part of a small team, with excellent attention to detail.

This is a varied role and includes credit control, customer service, and administration duties. You will be speaking with customers, processing orders and dealing with customer queries, also supporting our drivers while they are out on the road.

The candidate should be cheerful, enthusiastic, and customer focused. They should enjoy speaking to people, have a professional phone manner, be confident at selling, and be able to work calmly under pressure.

Your working week will be Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm, however this is flexible based on the candidate. You may also be required to work 1 in 3 Saturdays mornings during the 6 month winter period. You would be entitled to 20 days holiday, or pro rata.

Candidates should have:

  • A flexible and adaptive approach to their work.
  • At least 1 years telephone experience
  • Be computer literate with strong numeracy, grammar, and spelling skills.
  • Be well-presented, friendly and punctual with strong communication skills
  • A good knowledge of the local area.

Candidates must have:

  • A full clean driving licence and a competent level of driving experience.
  • Reference from a former employer.
