Shop Assistant - Food-on-the-go
Based at Lakeside, Thurrock
Hourly rate up to £8.38 + excellent benefits

The UK's leading and best-known food-on-the-go retailer is currently looking to recruit Team Members for a new shop opening in Lakeside shopping centre, Thurrock. Full-time and part-time opportunities available, opening hours Monday to Saturday 5am - 10.30pm and Sunday 7am - 6.30pm. It would be fantastic if you could be available to either work opening shifts, starting at 5am or closing shifts finishing at 10.30pm. Weekends will be worked on a rotational basis.

About you…
o Experience within a customer facing environment, ideally food / drink retail
o Strong numeracy skills, basic computer literacy and a flexible approach to working hours
o Enthusiastic problem-solvers who can manage change, communicate with people from all walks of life and constantly focus on customers

The Role
Supporting management and as part of a high performing team, you would play a key role in the smooth running of the shop, ensuring that all customers receive great products and a friendly service at all times. Key responsibilities will include opening and closing, stock counting, cashing up, food preparation, keeping an eye on every detail that goes into the efficient operation of the shop as well as ensuring that it is clean, hygienic and welcoming at all times.
